You may sometimes get Flash files (with file extension .swf) as e-mails or as downloads it off from websites. But how do you play the .swf files in your desktop or offline?

There are three ways:
1. Drop the swf file into a browser, and it'll play automatically, as long as you have Flash installed.
2. Use the standalone player. Simply follow the link

This works with both Flash videos or games, so you can play them even without an internet connection.
